It has about 400 residents and it is located on the northeastern side of the island, 45km away from Myrina.

Plaka is built on the north-easternmost edge of Lemnos and it’s full of little snow-white houses. The nearby hot-springs are perfect for mud-baths thanks to a special volcanic rock and the pre-historical settlement of Axa is not too far either.
