It’s the biggest of the seven small islands that comprise the Inusses complex and it is located east of Chios. In fact, it used to be part of Chios! Inusses owes its name to the quality wine it used to produce (inos is ancient Greek for wine), it’s very charming, quite popular with holiday-makers in the summers, and it has a very strong naval tradition. It’s actually the birthplace of various ship-captains and ship-owners.
