East of Patmos and north of Leros….
Not far from Patmos is a group of tiny islands, known collectively as Lipsi. They cluster round the largest, the only one which is inhabited, Lipso or Lipsi. Located north of Leros, east of Patmos, with just about 600 residents, it is a quite island where people still live a traditional lifestyle and farmers still ride on their donkeys, mules or horses to the fields. There are excellent beaches with crystal clear water, which are within a walking distance. During the summer months, there is a daily connection with Leros, Patmos and Samos. |
