The village of Marmari counts about 200 permanent reisidents. Il is located on the west coast of the island and is about 14 km far from the town of Kos.

 Marmari is the haven of the village of Pyli. Marmari has one beach only, which happens to be beautiful and endless, with hotel complexes, country tavernas and cafeterias. Marmari is the perfect spot for a quiet vacation without hordes of people.
The beach is located in front of the little settlement of the same name. It is a beautiful beach with crystal blue waters and a fully organised one. The village of Pyli is built in a fertile valley, in the mainland of the island and it is 5km from Marmari.
