 With 250 residents, it is located north on the island and 5 km from Hora.
A farming village spread over the entire northern side of the island. The impressive rubble masonries are numerous and account an undeniable witness of the human toil. Stockbreeding, farming and fishing are the livelihood of the residents. Though the homes are scattered, you still encounter cobble-stoned roads, farmhouses and a way of life reminiscent of another time. Old men in traditional costume, loading their donkeys on their way to work, a picture we only encounter in documentaries. Time here follows a different rhythm. |
