Plaka (capital) | Adamantas | Antimilos - Erimomilos | Apolonia | Emporios | Zefiria | Kleftiko | Klima | | Triovasali

Found NW with few residents and is located 4 km from Plaka.

Klima is also known as the other ‘Little Venice’ of the Aegean (Mykonos being the other). A colourful fish town near Tripite You will be impressed with the local architecture and find that most of these are homes to the local fishermen or are summer holiday getaways. .

Worth seeing at Klima are the catacombs. On the hillside found above Klima are the Catacombs of Milos, which were the point of congregation for the first Christians. The size of which, are unique in Greece (185 metres wide) and their value rivals those in Rome and Israel. They were discovered and made famous after their sacrilege in 1840 AD.
The ruins of the ancient town (the ancient theatre), found close to the town on the way to the catacombs, are settled in a wonderful area with surprising view of the sea. There remain part of the wall of the ancient city (3rd century BC) and parts of the ancient theatre that belonged to the Roman city but was subsequently destroyed in the 5th century AD. It was in this location that a very lucky and surprised farmer discovered the famous statue of Aphrodite (of Milos) in 1820.
