Stavros

Vathi (Capital) | Anogi | Kioni | Stavros

It has about 300 inhabitants and it is located on the northwestern side of the island, 17 km away from Vathi.

It is the second biggest village in Ithaca. This is another possible site where the palace of Ulysses could have been located.

Worth seeing

•The cave of Loizos, where Ulysses was supposed to have hidden the presents the Pheakes gave him
•The churches of Zoodochou Pigis and Agia Barbara (Santa Barbara)
•The village of Frikes with its small harbor
•The mountainous village of Eksogi with the amazing view
•The village Platrithia, on the Afales bay.
