It has about 80 inhabitants and it is 24 nm away from Kapsali. It is the only village in the whole island.
If you want to escape from the pains of everyday life and find yourself in another time and space, this place is perfect for you. It used to be a hide-out for pirates and has caused many shipwrecks. Whenever the weather allows it there’s ferry that takes visitors across, to Kythira. You can also get to Kisamos (in Crete) if you want to. |
