The Prefecture of Larissa covers the North-East part of the geographical district of Thessaly. In the east, it is washed by the Aegean Sea. It borders with Pieria and Kozani in the north, Grevena, Trikala and Karditsa in the west, Fthiotida and magnissia in the south… It is divided into five districts: Aghia, Elassona, Larissa, Tyrnavos and Farsala. Today, Larissa is the forth biggest town of Greece  and it keeps on growing fast.
