It's a small town of about 7.000 inhabitants, 24 km south far from Katerini. Built on the slopes of Mount Olympus, just 24 km of katerini, it's the gate to Mount Olympus, the mountain of Gods and the balcony of the Thermaikos Gulf. The people of Litochoro organize many festivities.
 
Worth seeing
• Dion. An archaeological site full of vegetation and an area with many small springs and lakes. It is worth visiting the Archaeological Museum with its collection of unique statues. 
 
Where to swim
• At the sandy beaches of Skala and Limenas.
