 With 600 residents, it is located southwest on the island and is 13 km from Ermoupolis.
One of the nicest spots on the island and selected by the wealthy as a hideaway to relax and getaway. Delagratsia is characterized by the architectural style of the renaissance mansions and their wonderful gardens. The name is derived from the Latin Madonna Della Grazia, the name of the church in honour of the Holy Mother. The town has crystal clear water and pretty beaches. The archaeological sites in the area support the idea that Posidonia was the second largest ancient city of the island. |
