There are no words to describe the deep green hues of the trees and the golden yellows of the sands illuminating the entire complex of the Sporades Islands, namely Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and Skyros, located opposite Euboea. The Sporades owe their collective name to the uneven (sporadic) distribution of islands comprising the complex.
