 It is the most popular holiday resort in the Municipality. It is the port of Artemisio and it has a well-developed tourist infrastructure.
There are a lot of hotels and guesthouses to chose from, as well as furnished studios.
The village attracts a lot of tourists, mainly because of its beach. There are plenty of little taverns, restaurants and bars and the night life is quite intense! During the summer you are bound to run into farmers trying to sell their products near the port.
You can also visit the Sporades whenever you feel like it, thanks to the flying dolphins (it’s 20΄ to Skiathos, 45΄ to Skopelos and 60΄ to Alonissos) or take a day cruise to the Sporades.
