It is one the biggest villages in Naxos Island and on one of the liveliest, build in an amphitheatrically way at the foot of mount Zas, the highest mountain of Cyclades Islands complex. The village church, Panagia of Filotissa, is one of the most beautiful in Naxos with rare icons, a marble screen and a carved belfry. The Barotsi tower worth a visit. From Filoti you can visit also the Tower of Himaros.
