Trikeri counts about 1.000 permanent residents, is to the south of Pelion and is  68 km from Volos.
It's a picturesque traditional village built on a rocky hill looking to the coasts of Evia and the Pagasitic gulf. The haven of the village is Agia Kiriaki.
Trikeri was known for many centuries, as its residents were enlisted sailors. It was the village that turned out shipmasters, ship owners and ship carpenters.
