They have about 800 residents respectively and they are located on the southeastern part of the island. Moraitika  is 20 km away from the city, 2 km less than Messogi.

These two villages have modern water sports facilities and an exciting night life. During the summer period they receive about 10.000 visitors daily. There is a coastal by-pass going through the village of Messogi that leads to the settlements of Psara, Kotsakia and Boukari. This by-pass goes as far as the Kerkyra- Lefkimi  highway and the village Argirades.
