| Pythagorio |
It has about 1500 residents and it is located on the southeastern side of the island, 13km away from Vathi.
It is the most popular village in the whole island and it’s built in the exact same place as Tigani, the ancient capital of Samos. It is a very picturesque little spot offering visitors every modern comfort imaginable. The narrow streets of Pythagorio, where old manor-houses co-exist side by side with newly built residencies and beachside cafes, make for a unique picture. The laid-back local lifestyle and the intense nightlife are harmoniously combined with the major historical past of this beautiful village.
