| Worth seeing |
• The Moni (Monastery) of Chrysoskalitisas, dedicated to Kimisi tis Theotokou (Assumption of the Virgin). The monastery is perched on steep rocks.
• The fairytale island of Elafonisi, bathed in color and light. It is 100m away from the shore and visitors can get there on foot because the waters are very shallow. |
