Located south of Logana and is the most frequently visited beach.

A meeting point for a large part of the younger crowd as parties and other such activities are organized here. Directly beyond Pounda beach, towards Mesada are two of the best beaches in the Mediterranean. ‘Nea Hrysi Akti’ also known as Tserdakia or Tsardakia, and Hrysi Akti are reminiscent of beaches on a tropical island. They are very large beaches with luscious golden sand (hence the name hrysi = gold). Host to an international windsurfing competition each year, 1 - 6 August, the beaches have two windsurfing schools that run during the summer months.
