Sykia counts approximately 2,500 inhabitants and lies to the south of Sithonia peninsula.

Sykia is in the mainland of Sithonia peninsula. This village has a great, long tradition, especially during the Greek revolution of 1821 against the Turks. It is a large traditional village with many natural beauties, history and things to see. The seaside settlement of Skala Sykias is built on the bay.
